2012 Teacher Albums

Every year, I make my kiddos' teachers a scrapbook for their classes.  I usually have them done for Teacher Appreciation Week but was a little late this year.  My Silhouette once again performed above and beyond!!  So here we go...

These are the covers.  I had three of these to make and all of them are the same except for the names. Most of the supplies here came from Kerri Bradford in her Silhouette classes at JessicaSprague.com.  I want to say that the bird is from the House of Three in the Silhouette store.  The font is Fling and then I just used rubber stamps (Stampin' Up!) to stamp the dates.  The rhinestone brad is also SU! and the flower is from Bazzill.  The book paper came from some scans Heidi Swapp had as part of one of the Mouse, Paper, Scissor classes (also at JS.com) but I can't think right now which one it was. I think the MPS: Give or it might have been MPS: Mom.  Sorry...my brain is ceasing to function. ;)

This is the first page.  I wanted to use the definition of teach and a quote.  Both of these are pretty big I guess but I couldn't really decide between them.  The tree in the background is from American Crafts at the Silhouette store.  The scallopy label is from Kerri Bradford.  The bird is from my Kissy Kissy Collection...remember the Mason album a post or two down??  That's the same bird. ;)

Now, we are here on the inside pages. The arrow is from the House of Three. The library pocket, library card, ruler, and chevron striped border are from Kerri Bradford.  I made the banner, tag, yellow border (yeah...real brainy work there, huh?) and the name labels. The pockets are stamped with the asterisk from SU!'s Think Big set with Real Red ink.  Oh and while I'm thinking of it, the pages are inked with chalk ink from Clearsnap.

I didn't take a picture of it but the back inside cover has a pocket on it that I made for extra pictures or little tidbits or whatever.  It also has a banner on it and I used puffy letters from American Crafts (Thickers) to spell out "extras".  All in all, I'm really happy with the way the albums turned out!  I hope the kids' teachers like them as well.

I have some other projects in the works right now so I'm going to go get busy.  And with any luck at all, it won't take me over a month to post again...sorry about that!  :D
