Halloween has been crazy busy this year...especially with all three kids in school. I had TONS of black felt leftover from the Halloween advent calendar I made, so I thought it would be a good idea to make little treat bags for the kids' classmates. It was a bigger job than I really thought it would be. I found these cute little bags on and modified the pattern so they would be a lot smaller. After it was all said and done, there were 70 of them things!! The kids loved them though so it was worth the effort.

I finally got around to carving the pumpkins on Saturday. Caden picked out the skull and Colton wanted the cutesy face. Ali informed me that she will be picking it out next year. That's fine as long as I don't forget! Last year, Home Depot had this little Dremel pumpkin carving thingy that I meant to get this year if they had it. I forgot, but I have a feeling I won't forget to look for it next year!!

We took the kids to Target this year for their costumes. It was pretty last minute...we had decided to go cheap (read as what we could throw together at home) this year but Colty decided he HAD to be Iron Man. So off we went. Ali found this Cleopatra costume. She got a wig for it but it was too itchy so she didn't want to wear it. This was actually her second costume. Her best friend's dad dressed Ali, Lily, and their other friend Kasey up as zombies for the school costume parade. They went to the mall for their Halloween thing and ended up on the news! I'll post that picture later. This one is the kiddos right before Trick-or-Treating.

And this is the sunset shot from my backyard on Halloween night.
