Photo classes

I've been playing with some pictures today. Here's my favorite one.

I'm taking a photo-editing class at Jessica Sprague too and was lucky enough to get a spot in the Portraiture class starting next week. I'm really excited about learning more! I've always loved photography but was never happy with my pictures. Sometimes I'd get lucky but it was ONLY luck. :)

Here are some more pics I've been playing with...

I'll post more later when I have a little more time. :)

Another digi layout

I promise this is the last one today. :D After I finished with the Photoshop Friday's I was working on, I started playing around making a template. Then, I had to make a page out of it so here ya go! The papers are from Life is Good by Echo Park, the flower and grow brushes from Au Natural Elements and Brushes by Crystal Wilkerson, and the swirly brushes were made by Jessica Sprague for one of the classes I took. All of them can be found at JessicaSprague.com.

Photoshop Friday

I've become seriously addicted to Photoshop Friday at JessicaSprague.com. On Friday's, the new episodes are only $1.00 and come with the supplies to make the sample layout, including the template. They are a lot of fun! I've spent all day today catching up on some of them. I got pictures scrapped now that wouldn't have been done any time soon if I was paper scrapping them. The kids have my scrap area completely destroyed and it's hard to be creative when you are kicking toys out of your way. That's a project for this week...

Halloween Crafts

This is going to be short...but these are a couple of the Halloween crafts I've been doing. I found the instructions for the advent calendar here at Executive Homemaker. LOVE that site! I still need to buy a dowel to put on the bottom but I was missing a few brain cells when I went shopping and just got the top one.

The pumpkin was made out of a dryer vent. You can find the instructions here at House of Hepworth's. This woman can work wonders with a can of spray paint.

So hope you enjoy them! And have fun visiting their web sites...you can spend hours on them. lol

Finally...scanned layouts!

These are the paper layouts I did over the summer. I didn't get a whole lot done but the kids were home for summer break too. I've seriously got to get upstairs and de-kid my scrap area...I'll take any volunteers!! :D
