SS DT Entry #4 and 5

These are the last two entries I submitted for the DT call. We needed to make a card or tag for one and the other had to be a layout featuring us and showing who we are.

For the card I used Wild Asparagus papers from My Mind's Eye. I had some scraps left over from another project that I did so that was perfect for this. I just inked the edges and rounded the corners of the large piece. I colored the flowers with the side of a brush marker so it just hits the high spots.

I had fun doing the layout! I used Winnie's Walls patterned paper from SEI. I just love those colors in it! I'm totally a green and coral-orangy type person. I inked my chipboard letters with chalk ink and then covered them with glitter glue. The flowers and vines along the right side are from Stampin' Up! in the Sale-a-Bration brochure. I colored them in with markers. The rub-ons on either side of "Just Me" are from the same package. Just Me was printed when I printed my photo. I did my journaling on strips by finishing out "I am...". In the left bottom corner, you can see part of a swirl stamp. This is from Inque Boutique and I stamped it to be the stem for the flower that is on the bottom of my photo. Then, I just threw other little embellishments on there! Oh and the scallop border under my photo was made by a large corner rounder. It was by far my favorite project I turned in. I was pretty proud of all my submisisons this time though and it paid off!! :) My term starts today!! Woohoooo!!! Wish me luck!
