I was chosen for Keeping Memories Alive's June Guest Designer. You can find the supply list here. These are pictures I took of Caden at my in-laws playing with the Legos his Dad used to play with. He loves building with them! Hope you enjoy this layout as much as I did making it!!

Crop Addict-Fancy Pants Manufacturer Kit

I just realized I haven't shown these to you yet. I've been a bad blogger this month. Right now at Crop Addict, there is a layout contest using Fancy Pants products. You can find all the details here. This month (or I guess actually May) I was allowed to get the manufacturer kit to play with! I love Fancy Pants so I was pretty excited to get this one. I can't wait to see what yall create!!

June Projects for Serendipity Scrapbooks

Sorry, it took so long to post the last entry and you'll figure out why. :) I have some more projects done but I need to scan them first. Hope you enjoy these!! Kristen sent me papers from My Mind's Eye Mademoiselle Collection. I had a lot of fun playing with them! Can't wait to show you what else I've been working on!!! ;)

Long Time, No See!

Sheesh...and I thought things were going to slow down once school was finished!! Not even close!!! So for a little catch-up....June 6th was my birthday. The kids went to my parents and Brannon and I got to go on a date. He even took me to my favorite Chinese restaurant, which really means a lot since he HATES Chinese food! Then, it was a trip to Michaels AND Hobby Lobby. I got to see my friend Peggy who is one of the managers at M's...haven't seen her for a long time so it was a lot of fun to chat with her for awhile. Brannon let me buy stuff at both stores. I got a couple of those Crop N Style-like cubes from M's and some bling. At Hobby Lobby, I bought a set of the Doodlebug Flocking. Can't wait to dig into those little jars. He also let me get ALL 3 KITS from was my review month so I didn't get a kit for June. If you haven't seen them yet, hop on over and check them out...they are my favorites so far!! One of them is the Archaic line from Basic Grey. ;) And the 2nd best surprise I got (the first being an actual date with Brannon) was the news that I won the Guest Designer Spot on!!! I bought the Cogsmo line from Cosmo Cricket for my layout...I have the perfect pics to go with it too! I can't wait to get started with it. I LOVE that line!

A little bit of bad least to our pocketbook. Our dryer decided it didn't want to work anymore after 2 1/2 years. Dad was afraid of doing more damage than good if he tried to fix it so I called a few repair places. Just for them to come to my house was going to cost between $65 and $70 and then whatever they decided to say was wrong with it. Brannon didn't want to sink a lot of money into it...he was afraid with our luck it'd be something really we just bought a new one. Dad took the other one home so he could tinker with it and see if he could figure it out. The delivery guys finally brought the new one yesterday and then couldn't get it through the bathroom door. They weren't allowed to tear off the trim so Brannon had to do it today. So now I can do laundry again...I don't mind hanging out some clothes to dry but with our makeshift clothesline it was more trouble than it was worth. I wouldn't mind having a real clothesline to use for towels and other heavy stuff though but that's another project for another day.

Last night was our chat with Tim Holtz on Serendipity. It was sooo much fun!! If you missed it, Kristen posted the recap here.

Today is Caden's 5th birthday. I can't believe that little guy will be in kindergarten next year. Next Wednesday is Colton's birthday too. So needless to say, it's been a pretty busy month. Brannon stayed home from work today so he could spend the day with Caden. He took us to McDonald's this morning for breakfast and so the kids could play. We walked and it had started raining by the time we were leaving. But a little rain never hurt anyone so we just walked in it. A little later, we had cake and the boys got to open some of their presents. We split them up so they would have something to open on Colton's birthday too. We got them some Lego sets since they love playing with the ones at Nana and Papa's (hint...took certain pics that will go with a certain paper line that I love!). Colton also got a set of planes and helicoptors. Caden got a Racer X car and we got Colton Speed Racer...didn't take him long to figure out how to shoot those little disks out of there either. :) It's been a fun day for them but boy am I tired!!!

And to my friend Aja...congrats on your new baby boy!!! He's a cutie!!

Wow...lots to tell!

I don't even really know where to start! I have the layout of the week over at and I won the challenge at Paper N Pigtails (it's announced on the blog). I've got lots and lots of layouts to post here too...all my review items from Serendipity and the Fancy Pants stuff from Crop Addict...I'll try to get those posted soon!

Now, are you ready for this?? Guess who our chat is going to be with this month at Serendipity! None other than TIM HOLTZ himself!!! I'm sooo excited for this. It will be June 17th at 8:00 pm Central time. Hope you can join us! I've threatened Brannon already that we are having nothing to do that night. I've missed all the other chats and I refuse to miss this one.

Serendipity is having another crop at the end of the month too...June 27-29! I think it's going to be even better than the last one. Our theme is the Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. We were asked to find a pic to represent it and the one I found was a hippo wearing the bikini. If you want to see it, check out my avatar on Serendipity. ;) I'll post more information on both of these events.

Talk to you soon!!!
