Some May Layouts

I can't show you all of them yet since a lot of them were DT related but I'll share the others with you!! Oh...and if you are looking for another challenge...jump over to www.scrapbooks.com! Every month, they are having a crop-a-thon to get you scrapping and using your supplies. Everyone who posts layouts in the gallery that add up to 500 points will get a small prize...they are thinking a store certificate or something but haven't told us what it is yet. No matter...it's a lot of fun and since I'm scrapping that much anyway, I might as well add the points up right??? Crop Addict and Serendipity have a bunch of challenges going on right now too. So jump in on the fun!!!

My TV Mom Personality

Take this test!
You are Lorelai Gilmore from Gilmore Girls. A traditional mama you aren't, but that doesn't mean you don't love your kids or aren't great in this role. You like to put a modern twist on things — no need to become your mother, after all — although sometimes you might wonder if that wouldn't be all bad.

You probably believe in being friends with your child, and you try your best to be open and honest about your choices, good or bad, past or present. You like being known as the cool mom in the neighborhood that your kids' friends can come to if they need an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. Sometimes your children may wish they had a mom that acted like everyone else's — or at least one who didn't raid their closets and acted her age. But most of the time, they think you're pretty cool. And that's fine by you, because the feeling is mutual.

Crate Paper Manufacturer Kit for Crop Addict

Debbie sent me the Sweet Branch line for my projects. I really loved this kit!!! It was soo much fun. Right now, you can create a layout with Crate Paper projects and submit them on Crop Addict for a chance to win more Crate Paper stuff!! You may notice that one of the layouts has 3 kids on it that do not look familiar! The DT did a photo swap and I got Rebecca Bollman's pics. Her kids are so cute and were fun to scrap. I hope she likes her page!! Check out the gallery for more projects done with this line and other new lines from Crate Paper. Enjoy!!

May is finally here!!!

And bringing lots of sunshine and letting my flowers grow! And the best part of it all....the last day of school will be soon!!! No more waking up early, rushing Ali so she doesn't make Brannon late for work, homework...which Ali really didn't have a whole lot, piano every week, yada yada yada! I'm soooo ready for the days to be relaxed...well as far as having to make sure the kids get where they are going. What I'm NOT ready for is the constant bickering and fighting...but they are old enough to get to play outside more without my constant supervision so I'm hoping it won't be as loud. One could only hope, right??

This past weekend was National Scrapbook Day. A whole holiday devoted to us!! How cool is that?? I mostly played on www.scrapbooks.com but went to Serendipity a lot too. I won a challenge over at scrapbooks.com too!! Can't wait to see what the prize is! At Serendipity, I played along with a story game. Kristen started a story and we had to finish it. It was a lot of fun...the thread is still over there if you want to check it out.

I've got lots of projects to share with you! I'll see if I can get those posted in the next couple of days. I'll have instructions for the DT layouts I did with the Serendipity kit too so keep a look-out for those!
