Layout using scraps

Debbie at Crop Addict challenged us to use our scraps on a layout. I only used two since they were the only two I could find that really went together. I did find out that I'm better off using my scraps for cards. Last Christmas, Brannon bought me a set of Making Memories embellishments that came in jars. I used those for most of my layout. I don't think I used anything new on this either...everything came from my stash somewhere. Anyway, I guess that's a few less items I have to worry about storing now!! Part of the inspiration also came from my Designing with 2008 calendar. The prompt for January 10 is to make the most use of your buttons so I used buttons for my flower centers. I now have 5 layouts done and need 10 more to stay on track for my yearly goal of 180!!

Supplies: cardstock (Hobby Lobby); patterned paper (Creative Imaginations--stripes; unknown--dots); flowers, chipboard, buttons (Making Memories); ribbon, corner rounder, wire (Stampin' Up!); floss (Karen Foster); letter tags (unknown); white gel pen (Uni-ball).

I need to do a better job of using my scraps, too! Great layout! I LOVE the Designing with 2008 calendar this year. It's a really good one!
