Kids' Class Halloween Treats

For Ali's Kindergarten and 1st Grade classes, I got to be homeroom mom. This year, they decided to let someone else have a turn (yep...volunteered again!) but I like making the kids little treats anyway. I cut these little boxes out of Pumpkin Pie cardstock using my Cricut Expressions and the Tags, Boxes, & More cartridge. I stamped Frankenstein from Batty for You on Pumpkin Pie with Whisper White and dried it with my heat gun. Then, I used a Green Galore marker and colored him in. It was punched out with the 1 3/8" circle punch and layered on a scallop circle punched out of Green Galore cardstock. Then, the whole thing was layered on the box front with a dimensional. Tomorrow, after I buy some candy, I'll load up the little boxes and Ali and Caden can take them to their classes Tuesday. I made 36 of these little guys today and hopefully have enough. I'm not sure how many kids are in Caden's class so I may actually have to make some more. I sure hope not!!!!

Happy Halloween Card

I bought this set about a week ago and finally had a chance to play with it. This picture is darker than it is in real life for some reason. I started with a 1/2 sheet of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. I layered a piece of Creepy Crawly Designer Series paper (this will be part of the SU! promotion next month). Next, I stamped my family on Whisper White. The images are colored with SU!'s watercolor pencils and Blush Blossom ink refill. The images come from All in the Family and Family Accessories and are stamped with Staz-On Jet Black. The corners are punched with the ticket corner punch and then the piece is layered on top of the patterned paper. At the bottom of the card, I stamped a pumpkin from the accessories set, "happy Halloween" from Everyday Flexible Phrases, and another pumpkin. Oh and after I colored with the watercolor pencils, I blended them with an Aqua Painter.
