Here's Two More!

It's been a pretty quiet day as you can tell from all the cards I'm making. I've got two more to share with you.

Stamps: Pick a Petal (yep...all those petals were cut out by hand!)
Hugs & Wishes

Ink: Blue Bayou and Soft Sky Classic Ink Pads

Cardstock/Paper: Blue Bayou, Whisper White, Soft Sky Prints Designer Series Paper

Accessories: Fire Rhinestone Brads-Circles, Stampin' Dimensionals, Dazzlind Diamonds glitter, 2-Way Glue Pen, 1/8" hole punch, small corner rounder

I'm not sure if you can tell in the picture, but the glitter was added to the flower center around the brad. It was also added to the dots on the petals and little areas on the other petals.

Stamps: Wild About You; Holidays & Wishes

Ink: So Saffron and Close to Cocoa Classic Ink Pads; Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, and Close to Cocoa Stampin' Write Markers

Cardstock/Paper: So Saffron polka dot from Pallette O' Prints, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and Very Vanilla

Accessories: Ivory organdy ribbon, corner rounder, and Stampin' Dimensionals

Ok...time to go and play some more!

New Stuff

I got my box full of my Preview Catalog order and have been having a ball since! I have three cards made from it and thought I would share.

The Heartfelt Thanks card didn't scan very well so the coloring is way off. You can see the actual colors if you look in the Preview Catalog though. I used Heartfelt Thanks stamp set. I've been wanting this one for a LONG time but kept putting off buying it. I finally did with my Preview order. The cardstock used is Purely Pomegranate, Groovy Guava, and Whisper White. The Classic ink I used are Groovy Guava, Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate, Garden Green, and Close to Cocoa. I also used the ticket corner punch.

This next card uses one of the Level 2 Hostess Sets that will be in the new catalog. It is called In the Spotlight. I also used the Hugs and Wishes set out of the Preview catalog. The cardstock is Whisper White, Soft Sky, and Soft Sky Prints Designer Series Paper. The ink is Close to Cocoa, Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, and Purely Pomegranate. I used dimensionals to raise the flower and flower center off of the card. The scallop edge was made with the corner rounder and the scallops were pierced with the paper piercer out of the Crafter's Tool Kit.

I loved making this card. It's my favorite of the 3 so far. I found a sketch in my Demonstrator Planner to use for the layout. This is made with Baroque Motifs. I used Very Vanilla, Purely Pomegranate, and Baroque Background Designer Series Paper. It is stamped with Old Olive and Purely Pomegranate. I used the distress tool from the Cutter Kit for the cardstock edges. I just tore the edges of the designer paper. The flower has one of the new Rhinestone brads for the center. It doesn't show up very well in my scan but it is the yellow one. The flower is raised up with a dimensional and then the whole card stock piece is raised off of the card base with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoy these and I'll post more as I get them done.

Divine Secret Sisters

There is a group on SCS called the Divine Secret Sisters. The group I'm in sends a card to her Little Sis once a month. On the third month, we send a card plus a small gift and reveal who we are. I just wanted to share the two cards I received from my Big Sis. I'll post the cards I sent to my Little Sis as soon as round is over. I don't want her to accidently find her cards on my blog if she were to venture over here.

I love the cards my Big Sis sent to me. I think you will enjoy them too. I love how the first one is multi-colored and had to use it on a card I made too. It's the tag card if you scroll down a little bit. On the second one, she used the In Full Bloom Simply Scrappin' Kit. It gives me a reason to pull mine out and use it now. She also sent me a little bit of ribbon for my birthday! And being the ribbon-girl I am, I really LOVED that! I can't wait to see what my card will look like for next month!
