September Demo Planner Challenge
It's time for another Demo Planner Challenge! I missed August with school starting and everything else going on, so I was ready to jump into another one! I used Looks Like Spring for my stamp set. In fact, I think I used just about every stamp in the set except for the friend tag one. The cardbase is Always Artichoke with the edges inked with Always Artichoke ink. I then cut a piece of Bordering Blue and stamped the argyle stamp with Bordering Blue ink. The argyle outline was then stamped with Night of Navy. I distressed the edges with the cutter kit and then inked them with Bordering Blue. The next piece is Mellow Moss stamped with the flower trio with the same color ink. The edges are also distressed and inked. I cut a piece of Always Artichoke and tore the top and bottom and distress the sides and inked them. The small flower is stamped on it with Always Artichoke. The top piece is Whisper White with the edges torn and inked with Bordering Blue. I inked the large flower stamp with Bordering Blue and then took a Night of Navy marker and shaded it from the center out and stamped it in the center. I reinked it and shaded it and stamped it again on another piece of Whisper White and cut it out. I bent the petals to make it fluff and used mini-glue dots to attach it the center of the first flower moving the petals to fill in the spaces left by the first flower. I tied a piece of natural hemp to a Night of Navy button and attached it to the center with mini-glue dots. I adhered the layers together and "sewed" them with hemp and attached to the cardfront with Stampin' Dimensionals. Oh and the background on the Whisper White piece was done by watercoloring Always Artichoke all around the flower. When I did this, some of the blue was picked up and made a few purple highlights which was unexpected but I loved! I also swiped my ink pad across the pieces before adhering them together. Hope you enjoy!
