All-American

I started this layout before we left for Dallas...at least as far as matting my picture and having the paper picked out. But my plan for the title and everything else changed when I actually sat down today to work on it. This was actually supposed to be for a challenge on Crop Addict but I didn't have time to finish it. The challenge was to use only red, white, and blue. The picture was taken the day before Colton's birthday and they were wearing their Cardinal t-shirts so I didn't have to worry about matching a picture to the color scheme. On your next layout, why don't you use only red, white, and blue also and see what you can come up with? Remember...it doesn't have to be 4th of July or patriotic to use those colors. And, if you have pictures you want to use but won't go with the color scheme, either try using variations of the colors or change your photos to black and white. Just have fun with it!

Supplies: white textured cardstock (unknown); blue solid paper (unk.); red patterned paper (My Mind's Eye); foam stamps (Making Memories and Lisa Bearnson); paint (Making Memories and Plaid); hole punch (Crop-a-Dile by We R Memory Keepers); chipboard, silver cord, sanding blocks (Stampin' Up!); printed ribbon (Hobby Lobby); white gel pen (Uni-ball); black pen (EK Success); adhesive (Xyron Cheetah Runner and Glue Dots)
